Equity Prime Mortgage adds sales SVP to focus on diverse markets

Keith Webster founded the Legacy Division while at Alterra Home Loans

Mortgage lender Equity Prime Mortgage has added Keith Webster as senior vice president of sales along with the Legacy Division he founded while at Alterra Home Loans in 2017.

In his new role, Webster will help lead a national effort to assist the sales department with a focus on diverse markets. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, including as former owner of Apex Mortgage Group.

The Legacy Division initiative was primarily intended to focus on the disparity in mortgage lending in underserved markets. Equity Prime noted that the African-American market remains underserved with a 41% homeownership rate compared to the national average of 64%.
