Ex-First American VP joins LRES as chief technology officer

LRES, a national residential commercial mortgage services company, has announced the appointment of Scott Spencer as its chief technology officer.

As CTO, Spencer will oversee the delivery of technological applications, tools, and services that streamline and boost the company’s existing capabilities.

Spencer previously worked as the vice president and divisional CTO of First American Mortgage Solutions. Before First American, he served as senior vice president at CoreLogic.

“Scott’s experience in IT leadership, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, cloud solutions, as well as analysis and reporting of big data, will play a crucial role for the growth and expansion of the company. The organization is pleased to welcome him to the executive team,” said LRES CEO Roger Beane.

“In our environment, nearly everything is technology; Scott’s role is pivotal in rounding out our executive team as well as leading the deployment of our continuing technology initiatives,” said Mark Johnson, president of LRES.
