The former Bank of America exec will help the company merge its mortgage services with the product offerings of a bank
Gateway First Bank has appointed financial services executive Charles Emley as senior vice president of operations.
In his new role, Emley will help the company maintain consistent operations as it continues to merge its mortgage technology and services with the product offerings of a bank, according to Stephen Curry, chairman and CEO of Gateway.
“His broad experience operating at an executive leadership level and managing enterprise transformation programs will be extremely useful to Gateway, and we are fortunate to have him on the team,” Curry said.
Most recently, Emley worked as senior vice president of capital markets and head of loan operations at Banc of California. He also optimized Bank of America’s first mortgage portfolio as senior vice president of home loans and product management executive.
“I am very happy to be joining Gateway, a great team with a demonstrated commitment to serving customers and a winning mindset,” Emley said. “Gateway’s initiatives to expand banking services, while continuing to invest in the already very successful mortgage business, make this an exciting place to be.”
