Move is part of the company's plans to extend its footprint across the US
Gateway Mortgage has opened a new hub in Tulsa, Okla., as part of the company’s nationwide expansion plans.
The new mortgage hub, located at 1717 North Peoria, will be led by mortgage sales manager Tina Johnson, who brings more than 26 years of experience. Johnson joined Gateway in 1995 and worked there until 2006. She returned 13 years later and coordinated the new center’s opening.
“This mortgage center is a partnership with the community to provide a presence and access for residents to learn more about affordable homeownership and obtain financial services,” Gateway CEO Scott Gesell said.
“We want to raise awareness of the many products Gateway offers as well as the benefits of homeownership and to assist borrowers with overcoming down payment challenges. For those who are not able to obtain a mortgage loan today, we want to help them set attainable goals and work with them to achieve them and complete the homebuying process,” Johnson said.
Back in 2020, the Jenks, Okla.-based lender opened 12 new offices: four in Colorado, three in Texas, two in Oklahoma, one in Utah and one in Washington state.
