It teams up with a non-profit to help "rebuild lives" of severely injured service members
Homespire Mortgage has announced a partnership with a non-profit organization to help build and donate specially adapted custom homes for severely injured veterans and service members.
Homespire donated $50,000 to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) to help support its mission of building ADA compliant and wheelchair-accessible homes, a release revealed. Since its inception in 2004, HFOT has constructed over 320 homes for veterans across the country, including one currently being built in Poolesville, Md.
“We are honored to have Homespire Mortgage as a mission partner,” said Tom Landwermeyer, president and CEO of Homes For Our Troops. “Enthusiasm and support of companies like Homespire Mortgage help advance our important mission of building homes and rebuilding lives.
“We are honored to support HFOT in its mission to help restore freedom and independence for our nation’s most severely injured veterans, empowering them to rebuild their lives,” said Homespire president Michael Rappaport. “We are tremendously grateful to those who sacrificed so much for us. As mortgage professionals, we understand the significance of finding the perfect home, and through our partnership with HFOT, we are thankful for the opportunity to support veterans.”
