A total of $385,000 will be given to 20 non-profit organizations
KeyBank has announced that its charitable foundation, KeyBank Foundation, will be donating a total of $385,000 to 20 non-profit organizations throughout the Hudson Valley and Metro New York markets.
“KeyBank’s commitment to the communities we serve is at the heart what we stand for,” said John Manginelli, market president at KeyBank.
“We value the partnerships we have with local non-profit organizations and are proud to support their important community work,” he added.
The donations will focus on giving support to organizations that address societal issues such as homelessness, financial literacy, education, workforce development, and minority small business development, among many others.
What were the organizations that the foundation donated to?
The following organizations received donations ranging from $10,000 to $50,000:
- El Centro Hispano (education)
- Girls Inc. (education)
- Housatonic Community College (education)
- Sister to Sister International Inc. (education)
- Community Outreach Center (workforce development)
- Greenwich House (workforce development)
- New York Urban League Inc.’s Career Preparation Institute (workforce development)
- WE ACT for Environmental Justice (workforce development)
- Seasoned Gives (workforce development)
- American Red Cross of Eastern New York (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Bowery Mission (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Center for Safety & Change (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Cents Ability (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Family Services Inc. (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Leviticus 25-23 Alternative Fund Inc. (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Sullivan Country Federation for the Homeless (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Youth Mission Outreach Needle in a Haystack (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- RETHINK Food (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Sheltering the Homeless is Our Responsibility (SHORE) (safe, vital neighborhoods)
- Green City Force (safe, vital neighborhoods)
The list does not include the commitments by KeyBank Foundation to the YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester, Lifting Up Westchester, and Food Bank of the Hudson Valley as well as Foundation-matched donations to United Way agencies.
