The industry veteran will handle loanDepot's branding
loanDepot has announced the addition of David King to the company's leadership team as chief marketing officer.
In his new role, King will be responsible for loanDepot's enterprise branding, as well as its retail and digital marketing. He will also lead the firm’s media and advertising efforts.
King joined loanDepot from Realty ONE Group, where he served chief brand officer for nearly two years. Before that, he spent over six years creating and developing Movement Mortgage's brand strategies. King was also the president of King Solutions.
"David's a great addition to our already-strong team," said Anthony Hsieh, founder and chief executive officer of loanDepot. "The talent, innovation and creativity he brings – in addition to his leadership experience in both the mortgage and real estate spaces – will help propel us even further forward, extending our brand to more customers and partners, in even more impactful ways, through our second decade and beyond."
"I'm thrilled to join the loanDepot team," King said. "As a former entrepreneur and lifelong marketer, the opportunity to work with a cool, innovative brand that transcends the industry in the way that loanDepot does was an opportunity that I could not pass up. I look forward to being a part of this powerhouse, industry-leading organization."
