The integration features offerings for homebuyers, mortgage servicing customers, and RoundPoint employees
Matic has announced that it has integrated with RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing to make its "get quote" button available to the mortgage originator and servicer’s customers and employees.
As part of the integration, Matic will be able to notify homeowners whose mortgages are serviced by RoundPoint when they can switch to a different A-rated homeowner’s insurance carrier, a move that would allow them to save money. Matic will also notify homeowners about opportunities to expand coverage without an increase in premium.
"Mortgage servicers rarely get to call their customers and offer a lower escrow payment or more comprehensive insurance coverage without a premium increase — yet these are exactly the kinds of opportunities Matic will bring to RoundPoint customers every day," Matic COO Benjamin Madick said.
In addition to RoundPoint’s servicing customers, Matic will also be available to mortgage loan applicants through RoundPoint’s retail mortgage lending division. The integration also covers RoundPoint employees, who will be able to access Matic through a private-labeled web portal.
"Matic is a key component of our Homeownership Marketplace initiative, which provides products and services that provide value, save money, and enhance the overall experience for borrowers," RoundPoint CEO Kevin Brungardt said.
RoundPoint services more than $75 billion worth of mortgage assets as a fully licensed subservicer for commercial banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and hedge funds.
