The exec will oversee member-engagement activities and content development for the unit
The Mortgage Bankers Association has announced the addition of Kelli Burke to its leadership team as vice president of commercial real estate finance.
In her new role, Burke will lead the member-engagement activities of MBA’s commercial real estate finance division (CREF). She will also create content development for CREF-related conferences and convened meetings.
Burke has two decades of commercial real estate industry experience. She held various roles at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company for 11 years. Additionally, she served as project manager and senior business analyst for seven years in commercial servicing at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, a predecessor company of Berkadia.
"Kelli comes to MBA with an in-depth commercial real estate finance background at industry firms, particularly with business expertise in project management in commercial servicing and information technology," said Thomas Kim, senior vice president of commercial real estate finance at MBA. "Working closely with our members, Kelli and the MBA team will develop high-quality programming and engagement opportunities that continue MBA's exceptional work to serve the CREF membership."
