Exec says move provides “more comprehensive experience for our buyers”
Homebuilder Meritage Homes has announced the launch of its home insurance business, Meritage Homes Insurance Agency.
Meritage Homes said that agency integrates the products of its affiliate companies MTH Mortgage and Carefree Title to offer homebuyers a one-stop-shop in the home-buying process.
“Bringing Meritage Homes Insurance Agency in-house, along with our mortgage, title and closing services, advances our strategy to provide a more comprehensive experience for our buyers,” said Brian Hall, president of financial services at Meritage Homes. “We work closely with the builder and mortgage company to ensure each transaction closes without delay.”
Meritage Homes Insurance Agency also collaborates with insurance companies across the nation to provide homeowners, auto, flood, and excess liability insurance products to homebuyers.
