Tony Taveekanjana returns to the company from Stearns Lending
Retail mortgage lender Movement Mortgage has appointed Tony Taveekanjana as its national sales director.
With the appointment, Taveekanjana returns to the company from a year at Stearns Lending, where he served as national head of retail lending.
Before that, Taveekanjana spent nearly five years at Movement Mortgage from 2013 to 2017 as a sales leader in California. He helped build the company’s West Coast sales culture and oversaw much of its growth.

Based in Dallas, Taveekanjana will lead five sales regions in the western US, including the regions covering Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. He will report to Chief Executive Casey Crawford.

Taveekanjana has more than 20 years of mortgage experience. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at New Penn Financial, Fifth Third Bank, and Countrywide Home Loans.
Taveekanjana joins Deran Pennington and Ignacio Metcalf as fellow national sales directors. Pennington will continue to lead five sales regions in the Southeast, Midwest, and New England. Metcalf will continue leading the five sales regions in the Mid-Atlantic, Upper Midwest, and Heartland states.
