The mortgage firm teams up with Total Expert to arm its loan officers with Spanish marketing tools
Movement Mortgage has announced the expansion of its Movement Comunidad program to equip loan officers serving Hispanic communities and Spanish-speaking homebuyers nationwide.
First introduced earlier this year, the Comunidad program identified Spanish-speaking loan officers and provided them with Spanish marketing tools and other resources. The company also brought together a mortgage operations team of processors and underwriters fluent in Spanish.
Movement Mortgage has partnered with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and Total Expert, a mortgage marketing operations system provider, to develop Movement Comunidad. The program is currently available in 48 states.
NAHREP recorded around 7.4 million Hispanic American homeowners in 2017, an increase of 167,000 from 2016. Hispanics are the only demographic that posted an increase in homeownership rate for the last three consecutive years.
“Differences in language shouldn’t prevent otherwise well-qualified homebuyers from achieving their financial and homeownership dreams,” Movement Mortgage Chief Commercial Officer Michelle Donnelly said. “We consider it a great privilege to help more communities access the American Dream, and expanding Movement Comunidad nationwide will immediately help us serve more families who wish to own homes.”
