New independent lender offers mortgage and real estate services across state
Nations Lending has entered a new joint venture partnership with Indiana-based Carpenter Realtors as part of its plans to build for future growth.
The companies have announced the launch of Commitment Mortgage. The new venture leverages Carpenter’s more than 600 real estate agents across Indiana to assist clients and Nation’s diverse loan offerings.
According to Nations Lending, Commitment Mortgage is an independent lender with in-house loan officers and loan assistance to real estate agents. Commitment also retains a high percentage of its mortgage servicing rights through Nations.
Mortgage industry veteran Erick Cavalcanti will head Commitment Mortgage as president. He will work closely with Corey Caster, vice president of national production at Nations Lending, to run the joint venture.
“We view the launch of this venture as the natural progression of our company’s growth,” Caster said. “Commitment Mortgage is an opportunity for both Nations and Carpenter to bring two strong companies together to create an enhanced experience for our borrowers and employees.”
