In her new role, executive will lead the company's team of mortgage underwriters
Following five straight months of record loan volume, Nations Lending has said that it is prioritizing excellence in its operations team with the addition of a mortgage industry leader.
Jennifer Verrilli (pictured) has come onboard the Cleveland-headquartered mortgage lender as senior vice president of underwriting, credit risk, and strategic operations. Verrilli, a tenured mortgage operations executive with nearly three decades of experience under her belt, most recently served as vice president at Guaranteed Rate. Her credentials also include time spent at Mr. Cooper, New Penn Financial, and PHH Mortgage.
“Jennifer’s extensive leadership experience within key operational roles makes her an asset to any lender,” said Jim Collier, executive vice president of operations. “Her constant drive for organizational improvement fits well into our culture at Nations.”
As a member of Nations Lending’s leadership team, she will lead the underwriting department. Verrilli will also focus on assessing the risk profile of the firm’s loan files and oversee post-close operations while identifying process efficiency opportunities throughout the entire loan process.
“It’s so exciting to be a part of shaping the future of operations at Nations,” Verrilli said. “To have a hand in the company’s strategic vision and the ability to help build something great – it’s going to be a fun ride.”
