The mortgage lender earned the honor for the second year in a row
New American Funding has been named one of the best workplaces for millennials by Fortune and Great Place to Work for the second year in a row. The mortgage lender was one of just 100 companies honored in the list.
Fortune and Great Place to Work’s “Best Workplaces for Millennials” list was based on feedback from more than 389,000 employees, who were surveyed on their management’s competence, respect and fairness in the workplace, meaningful work and other elements.
“We’re honored Fortune and Great Place to Work have recognized New American Funding as one of the best workplaces for millennials,” said Rick Arvielo, CEO of New American Funding. “The millennial generation makes up a significant segment of our workforce, and our employees come first with us. Our focus every day is to build a company culture where employees feel established, valued and supported in their growing careers. We truly care for our employees like our own family.”
As part of that effort, New American Funding created a corporate training curriculum that’s designed to prepare people for a career in mortgage banking. Specialized Training Empowering People (STEP) was designed to train people with no background in the industry and equip them to work in every aspect of mortgage banking, the company said.
