Redfin has announced the expansion of its homebuying business, RedfinNow, to the Houston market.
RedfinNow allows homeowners to get an all-cash offer for their homes directly from Redfin and pick their move-out date. Qualifying homeowners can get an offer in 48 hours or less and complete a sale in as few as seven days after accepting the offer.
“RedfinNow makes homeselling simple so you can focus on what’s next in your life,” said Kari Ledgerwood, Houston market manager for RedfinNow. “Skip the repairs, showings and uncertainty of a traditional home sale and move on your timeline. Sellers love the convenience and certainty of an instant offer, and the service is especially popular with our move-up buyers who are able to use the cash from their current home to buy their next.”
After purchasing a home, RedfinNow makes any necessary repairs and updates before putting it on the market.
The program launched in Dallas in February, and is also available in Austin, San Antonio, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Inland Empire and Orange County, Calif. RedfinNow is scheduled to expand to additional cities later this year.
