The Guaranteed Rate branch manager is dedicated to continue serving even through the COVID-19 outbreak
Amid the societal disruption and market slowdown brought about by the global COVID-19 outbreak, Shant Banosian of Guaranteed Rate assures his Belmont, Mass., clients that his business will continue attending to their needs.
This dedication stems from what he was looking forward to in working with mortgages – an expectation that he was already holding even before he entered the industry.
“My expectations were that I would be able to help people at a very important time in their lives, and those expectations are continuously met by seeing my clients get keys to a new home,” Banosian said.
“I was actually getting ready to go to law school and was studying for my LSATS when I ran into someone I knew who was in the mortgage industry and gave me the idea to do mortgages on the side. I figured I would give it a try waiting for law school to start,” Banosian said. “I ended up loving the process of helping people into a home, being able to save them money, being able to partner up with other professionals, and helping people achieve their American Dream.”
Banosian accomplishes this mission through the collective experience of skilled professionals. He stresses that this is a fundamental component of success in the industry.
“It’s important to be able to delegate tasks to people that may not be my strong suit or my favorite thing to do,” Banosian said. “Oftentimes, the things that I don’t like to do or am not the best at, other people not only excel in but also enjoy those tasks.”
Another vital ingredient is updated knowledge of on-the-ground market realities, a feat Banosian said is achievable only through continuous, diligent study.
“I take pride in know as much as there is to know about every product available, what is going on in the market and the industry,” Banosian said. “This enables me to provide my clients with the best solution for their specific situation.”
