The company hopes a new focus on offering mortgage services to homebuilders will accelerate growth on a national level
Sierra Pacific Mortgage is initiating a new focus on offering mortgage services to homebuilders across the US with the launch of its new builder division.
While the company has been serving homebuilders for more than 30 years, Sierra Pacific said the new division allows it to accelerate growth on a national level.
“By having a dedicated builder team, and combining innovative technology, a robust product suite, and builder-specific fulfillment processes, we will be able to serve the needs of our homebuyers and homebuilders for years to come. Our process is not just different, it’s better,” said Jay Promisco, senior vice president of retail production.
The company also announced that it hired industry veterans Diane Cimarusti-Galigher and Christopher MacNaughton to support the division’s new home construction teams.
At Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Cimarusti-Galigher will take on the role of regional builder manager and will oversee builder accounts and in Southern California. She brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the company and was most recently senior vice president at BD Holdings. Prior to that, Cimarusti-Galigher was senior vice president of the national builder division at Guaranteed Rate and regional manager at DHI Mortgage.
Also serving as regional builder manager, MacNaughton will oversee builder accounts in Northern California. He brings almost two decades of mortgage lending experience, having personally closed more than 2,000 builder loans. Before joining the company, MacNaughton served at New American Funding as regional builder and business development manager.
