Mortgage industry veteran brings 25 years of experience to the role
TD Bank has appointed Michael Innis-Thompson as senior vice president and head of national community lending for the bank’s residential lending businesses.
Innis-Thompson will oversee the strategy and development of the community mortgage sales process and expansion of enhanced product offerings. He will also ensure compliance with regulation in the mortgage lending space.
In this role, Innis-Thompson will play a key role in the development of community lending programs, supporting TD Bank’s multicultural lending strategy. He will also build sales distribution and strategic partnerships, apply advanced market analytics and support regulatory compliance, according to the bank.

Prior to joining TD Bank, Innis-Thompson was a managing director of community lending and investor relations at MUFG Union Bank, where he gained the majority of his 25 years of mortgage banking experience. In addition, he worked for Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, where he held senior roles in compliance, business development, and product marketing.
