Homeowners can submit documents for loan servicing from their mobile device, including loss mitigation and insurance documents
Fintech company TMS has introduced TMS Happinest Mobile, a new mobile application for its SIME (Servicing Intelligence Made Easy) servicing platform.
TMS said the application offers homeowners a way to have a dynamic relationship with their servicers, allowing users to directly get in touch with TMS on their schedule and in the way they prefer to be communicated with.
TMS President Ali Vafai said the app comes on the heels of its homeownership platform Happinest and is part of efforts to improve the borrower experience beyond the closing table.
“We have a vision that customers should be able to interact and communicate with us in all imaginable ways as it relates to homeownership, and this app is the centerpiece for that,” Vafai said. “From this vision and foundation, we built an app that can meet our customers on their terms and equip them with the tools and resources they need for a happy homeownership experience.”
The app’s version 1.0 allows members to access their accounts, view statements and transaction histories, and pay their mortgage. TMS Happinest Mobile also allows users to manage alerts, follow their transactions, decide to go paperless, and check their taxes, insurance and escrow information, among other features. TMS also included an upload feature that allows users to submit documents for servicing their loan straight from their mobile device, including documents for loss mitigation and proof of insurance.
The company said it plans to roll out updates throughout the year, with new features that do not exist in the servicing and mortgage world planned for versions 2.0 and 3.0.
