The new additions bring a combined 19 years of multifamily lending experience
Walker & Dunlop has announced the appointment of Frank Cassidy as vice president of its Philadelphia office and Cliff Ayers as vice president of the firm’s Maryland branch.
Cassidy will be responsible for Department of Housing and Urban Development multifamily and healthcare lending, while Ayers will handle the origination of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans.
Most recently, Cassidy was vice president of Newmark Knight Frank’s multifamily capital markets group. He also specializes in originating Federal Housing Administration-backed loans. Ayers served as director at MAC Realty Advisor, where he placed debt and equity transactions for multifamily, condo, and mixed-use properties.
"We are pleased to welcome Frank and Cliff to the team at Walker & Dunlop,” said Don King, executive vice president of Walker & Dunlop. “Their skills and expertise will translate well into their new roles, and I believe they will both play an important part in our continued growth and ability to maintain the leadership positions that we've earned with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD."
