Ziebell brings eight years of experience to the role

Mortgage lender Waterstone Mortgage has appointed Stephanie Ziebell to its executive team, elevating her to senior vice president and general counsel.
In her new role, Ziebell will oversee Waterstone’s legal, compliance, and customer service departments. Ziebell joined Waterstone in 2012 as assistant general counsel. Since then, she has played a key role in the company’s expansion in 36 states.
Ziebell has more than eight years of legal experience in the mortgage lending industry. She most recently worked as a foreclosure research specialist at JPMorgan Chase.
“During her time with Waterstone Mortgage, Stephanie’s expertise, professionalism, and insight have proven invaluable to our executive team,” said Waterstone Mortgage Chief Information Officer Tom Knapp. “Her efforts have resulted in a tremendous amount of growth for the organization, and have helped build our presence as a strong and reputable lender in the mortgage industry.
