Strategic acquisition strengthens William Raveis' presence in New England's luxury market
William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance has acquired Jordan Real Estate (JRE), a boutique brokerage with over 30 years of history in Nantucket. The acquisition enhances its footprint in one of New England’s premier real estate markets.
Jordan Real Estate, co-owned by Gloria Grimshaw and David Callahan since 2007, has been a long-standing presence in Nantucket’s real estate community. The firm will now operate under the William Raveis umbrella, integrating its resources and network to serve a broader clientele.
Grimshaw and Callahan noted that the merger enhances their ability to serve clients while maintaining a focus on the Nantucket community.
"It is exciting to join forces with a company that mirrors our dedication to agents and clients on Nantucket as well as in luxury markets like Naples, Palm Beach, Hilton Head, and internationally,” the co-founders said in a Press Release. “Broadening our reach, we have a tremendous network supporting agents, buyers, and sellers at William Raveis."
William Raveis’ comprehensive real estate services, which include mortgage banking and insurance, will now be available to JRE clients. The company offers competitive mortgage products and insurance solutions, streamlining transactions for buyers and sellers.
The acquisition also connects JRE clients and agents to William Raveis’ extensive network, which spans key markets in the Northeast, Florida, and South Carolina. As part of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, William Raveis leverages a global network of 140,000 agents across 70 countries to link buyers and sellers in luxury markets.
