Joint venture was created through a partnership between The Agency and Barrett Financial
Aclara Lending, a new national mortgage company, has officially launched through a joint venture partnership between The Agency and Barrett Financial Group.
Along with traditional loan programs, the company will offer a range of mortgage loans (including jumbo, super-jumbo, and non-QM loans) sourced from more than 140 wholesale lenders. Its access to over a hundred wholesalers means clients have a broad selection of mortgage products to choose from.
Aclara also offers a platform that features a one-click automated underwriting system that allows loan originators to compare products from desktop underwriter (DU) and loan product advisor (LPA) instantly. Other features include doc-less technology for verifying income and assets, e-sign capabilities, and a single credit pull option for pre-qualification without impacting the borrower’s credit score.

The non-QM lender is currently operating in Southern California and plans to expand further. Aclara aims to provide tailored financing options for luxury client.

With the launch of Aclara Lending, The Agency adds another service to its range of offerings, which includes relocation, escrow, insurance, and inspection services.
