Kind Lending names branch manager in Daytona Beach

Jenn Stears, a mortgage industry veteran with 24 years of experience, has been named branch manager of Kind Lending’s new location in Daytona Beach. A news release highlighted that Stears will support clients in Florida and continue serving borrowers in Connecticut, Arizona, and California.

Throughout her career, Stears has held roles in mortgage processing, underwriting, loan origination, and branch management. Her career background spans the broker, wholesale lender, and retail lender sectors.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone achieve the dream of homeownership,” Stears said. “I love educating clients and guiding them through the process, ensuring they make informed and sound financial decisions along the way.”

Jim Linanne, president of retail at Kind Lending, welcomed Stears to her new role. “We are delighted to welcome Jenn Stears to the Kind Lending team. Her experience and dedication to exceptional client care align perfectly with our mission. We are confident that Jenn will be a tremendous asset in her new role and will continue to deliver the outstanding service that Kind Lending is known for,” he said.

According to a news release, Stears’ leadership will be instrumental in Kind Lending’s expansion efforts, particularly in Volusia County. Stears will work closely with borrowers to match their needs with suitable lending options.

Traditionally focused on A Prime/Agency loans, Kind Lending earlier this year launched a suite of competitive non-QM (non-qualified mortgage) products.

William Fisher, EVP of non-QM, highlighted several benefits, including improved products tailored to current market needs and in-house lending decisions that streamline the process. Key features include versatile options like bank statement loans, DSCR loans with up to 85% LTV, and innovative asset utilization methods.
