Kind Lending names new COO

Kind Lending has announced the appointment of Tamara Richards (pictured) as its new chief operating officer.

In her new role at the company, Richards will oversee all operational aspects of the company. Her focus will be on scaling Kind Lending's infrastructure and processes to support its rapid growth while ensuring the company upholds its commitment to social impact.

Richards brings over 34 years of experience in the mortgage industry and continues to serve as the CEO of LendArch, a consulting firm she founded in 2021. She has previously held executive leadership positions at Bank of America, Caliber Home Loans. Most recently, Richards served as COO for loanDepot.

Richards is a vocal advocate for financial inclusion and a recognized expert in the industry's technological transformation. Kind Lending said her goals align with the company's mission to increase homeownership rates, reduce bias in lending, and make homeownership a reality for all Americans.
