Industry veteran to head ARDRI’s entry into alternative lending market

ARDRI, a newly launched lender focused on streamlining non-QM originations, has named Steve Nadon (pictured) as its president, bringing more than four decades of mortgage experience to the role.
Nadon’s resume spans from early consumer lending to executive leadership roles in subprime and non-QM mortgage operations. Most recently, he served at Plaza Home Mortgage, and before that held leadership roles at Emporium TPO, O2 Funding, and Option One Mortgage, where he helped scale the company to more than 6,000 employees and over $40 billion in annual originations across wholesale, retail, and correspondent channels.
“We are excited to announce Steve Nadon as president to lead ARDRI’s launch in the non-QM lending market,” said ARDRI CEO Brian O’Shaughnessy. “We have assembled the strongest talent and the most powerful and user-friendly technology solution in the industry.”
O’Shaughnessy added that the company is focused on simplifying non-QM lending through technology and process efficiency. The leadership team also includes Brent Houston and Yvonne Brumett, both veterans of the mortgage and fintech space.
Nadon began his career in the mid-1970s at Transamerica Financial Services, working in unsecured personal loans and second mortgages. In the 1980s, he helped launch Nova Financial Services, expanding it to 70 branches across the western US, where it posted the highest return on assets among its peers.
Speaking on his new role, Nadon said he sees an opportunity to build a lending platform that better supports brokers and independent mortgage banks in today’s market.
