Move set to enhance non-QM lending services
Specialized mortgage lender Logan Finance has tapped Dave Weatherford (pictured) as its new sales director in a strategic move to bolster its ongoing expansion.
With a career spanning over two decades in the industry, Weatherford has a notable track record of recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams for banks and credit unions. Before joining Logan, Weatherford held senior sales leadership positions at LoanStream Mortgage, Finance of America, Guaranty Home Mortgage, and NewRez Wholesale Lending.
The company said Weatherford’s role will be pivotal in driving its growth and enhancing its service offerings in the non-QM sector. Based in Texas, Logan Finance provides lending services to third-party originators, such as wholesale, non-delegated correspondent, and commercial non-QM loans.
“Logan has experienced tremendous growth this year, and Dave’s industry leadership and non-QM experience will be a valuable contribution to our overall growth goals,” Logan chief revenue officer Aaron Samples said in a press release. “Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both wholesale and correspondent arenas, and we’re very excited that he chose Logan.”
Weatherford also shared his excitement about joining the team. “I was drawn to Logan’s stellar reputation in the non-QM world, and I’m really looking forward to contributing to the company’s growth plan,” he said. “I know we will build an incredible sales team that complements Logan’s exceptional service and quality protocol for our growing non-QM brokers and correspondent customers.”
