1st Reverse Mortgage USA has promoted Steve Scheiern to director of reverse mortgage business development.
Scheiern previously served as the national retail sales manager of the company for more than six years. 1st Reverse is a division of Cherry Creek Mortgage Company (CCMC).
In his new role, Scheiern will work with more than 250 CCMC loan officers to assist with their reverse mortgage clients. His role includes continued sales management and development of the 1st Reverse retail sales division.
"In my new position, I want to encourage CCMC's traditional loan officers with the opportunities we've available for them – and for those they serve – in the reverse mortgage space," Scheiern said. "Our experience and full-service mentality extends to CCMC as well as our other partners. We're dedicating significant energy and resources to their success."
Scheiern brings more than 23 years of experience in leadership roles in business development across the financial services and the mortgage industry, including American Express and Wells Fargo.
"With more than 10,000 baby boomers turning 62 each day, we know, many will be seeking the benefits offered by reverse mortgage,” 1st Reverse Vice President Dan Harder said. “We are geared up to accommodate those working to meet that demand – both in the retail and wholesale space.
