Partnership enables customers to apply for a loan without a credit score
Figure Technologies, a blockchain-powered financial services platform, has announced a partnership with mortgage fintech company Ready Life.
As part of the tie-up, Ready Pay customers can apply for a mortgage loan without a credit score review through the mobile app powered by Figure Payments – a banking as a service (BaaS) offering for retailers, fintech, and banks. Customers who pay their rent on time using the Ready Pay Visa debit card or Ready Pay digital account can qualify for mortgages without a credit score review.
"For too long, people who consistently pay their rent on time have been shut out of homeownership," Ready Life CEO Ashley Bell said. "As we make banking and financial services accessible and equitable for all, we are aiming to open homeownership to many more people, providing them a chance at the American dream and fundamentally changing how people view mortgages."

All the transactions will be recorded, originated, and serviced in the Provenance Blockchain. More than 50 financial institutions actively issue, manage, and transact real-world assets in Provenance.
"With the launch of Ready Pay, Figure is able to highlight how our technology serves as a banking and payments solution for consumers who have struggled to obtain a traditional mortgage," said Tony Morosini, general manager at Figure Pay. "Our capabilities have proven successful, and we will continue to find new ways to provide services that consumers need."
