Company expands eastward
CMG Home Loans, the retail division of wholesale and correspondent lender CMG Mortgage, has expanded its footprint in New Hampshire with the opening of a new branch in Salem, N.H.
According to its news release, the new branch will include 20 loan officers and seven operational support members led by area sales manager Mike Comerford (pictured). Comerford has 15 years of industry experience under his belt and owns his own company, Premier Mortgage Lending. In 2022, his team originated over $260 million in loan volume.
The expansion comes on the heels of CMG’s acquisition of Homebridge’s retail division last month. CMG said the transaction solidifies its position as one of the nation’s largest mortgage banks.
“This is an excellent addition to CMG’s New England Team,” said Mark McCauley, New England regional sales manager at CMG Home Loans. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Mike Comerford and such a strong group, and we look forward to providing exceptional service to our valued referral partners and borrowers.”
“The team and I are super excited to join CMG,” Comerford said. “We pride ourselves on delivering superior customer service and an incredible customer experience. We are confident that joining CMG will help us take that service to the next level.”
Founded in 1993, CMG operates through its retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending channels. The company does business in all states, including the District of Columbia.
