Donation is based on a percentage of the total loan production of Plaza's top salespeople
Plaza Home Mortgage, a wholesale and correspondent lender, has donated $8,000 to the California Fire Foundation, which works directly with people impacted by natural disasters throughout the state.
According to its press release, the donation is based on a percentage of the total loan production of Plaza's 2022 Select Circle members, the company's top wholesale and correspondent salespeople.
"We are extremely thankful for Plaza Home Mortgage's generous donation to our Foundation," said Rick Martinez, executive director of the California Fire Foundation. "As the need for the California Fire Foundation's programs continues to grow, especially given the almost year-round wildfires and recent flooding across the state, their support and generosity make a tremendous difference to California firefighters, their families, and the communities they protect."
Founded in 1987, the Sacramento-based charity provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters, and the communities they protect. The Foundation also conducts regular community outreach about fire safety education.
