ING bolsters Queensland sales team

ING bolsters Queensland sales team

Non-major bank ING Australia has expanded its Queensland sales team with the addition of two business development managers (BDMs).

Experienced BDMs Mandy Grabovac (pictured above left) and Ardele Hammond (pictured above right) have been appointed to meet growing demand in the region, where net settlements have risen 6.6% year-on-year.

Both bring extensive industry experience, with Hammond previously operating her own mortgage brokerage for 15 years and Grabovac spending two decades helping brokers grow their businesses, most recently at the Bank of Queensland.

George Thompson, head of mortgages at ING Australia, said the expansion aims to deepen the bank’s engagement with brokers.

“Our brokers are the heartbeat of what we do,” Thompson said. “Expanding our team isn’t just about growth — it’s about doubling down on our commitment to the broker community.”

Thompson added that the new appointments will enable ING to provide faster processes and more tailored support to brokers and their clients.

“We’re dedicated to helping more Aussies secure their dream homes through our strong partnerships,” he said. “We’re very pleased to be welcoming Mandy and Ardele to the team, and their appointments reflect our long-term vision and unwavering support for both brokers and their clients.”
