It will speed up loan processing by 90 minutes per deal
AFG, one of Australia’s largest aggregators, has launched a BrokerEngine Plus, a new broker platform which will be used exclusively by its network of more than 4,000 mortgage brokers.
Built as an extension of the award-winning BrokerEngine platform, BrokerEngine Plus introduces a number of new features aimed at improving the experience for brokers and their clients, including speeding up loan processing times by up to 90 minutes per deal.
The platform will also include automated submission to ApplyOnline, the elimination of redundant data entry and simplified operations and team workflow.
AFG head of sales and distribution Them Lam (pictured above left) and chief digital officer Sam McCready (pictured above right) made the announcement about BrokerEngine Plus today (Wednesday, November 13) at AFG Next, the company’s flagship broker conference, on the Gold Coast.
“We have relooked at every part of the loan application and lodgement process with the view that every minute we save a broker directly translates into saving them money and to retain customers by delivering an improved experience,” McCready said.
“BrokerEngine Plus could save brokers thousands of hours each year on administration tasks, freeing them to focus on other higher value activities within their business,” said Lam.
BrokerEngine Plus saves brokers time
McCready led the platform’s development process, which took 14 months and involved more than 100 AFG employees. He also managed a comprehensive pilot testing process with brokers.
“By reducing duplicate entry and supporting compliance, BrokerEngine Plus empowers brokers to streamline processes and avoid errors,” said McCready.
“Automated communication tools and customisable workflows keep teams and clients informed of deal progress, save time and effort and reduce the need for manual client updates.”
Broker Nicole Cannon (pictured above centre), owner of Pink Finance, who has used Broker EnginePlus, described it as a game-changer.
“It automates manual tasks, saves time, and reduces errors,” Cannon said. “Our clients love the consistent communication, which has made a real difference in their experience.”
