Non-bank discusses why event is so important, as nominations roll in
One of the biggest events on the mortgage and finance industry social calendar is fast approaching and nominations are rolling in.
The 2023 Australian Mortgage Awards will honour the “best of the best” across the nation.
Pepper Money general manager Barry Saoud (pictured above) said that the event was not just an opportunity to network and celebrate – it provided inspiration across the industry.
The Australian Mortgage Awards will be celebrated at a black tie gala dinner, to be held at the Star Event Centre in Sydney on October 13.
Pepper Money was crowned Non-Bank of the Year in 2022, and is one of the award sponsors for 2023.
Saoud described the Australian Mortgage Awards as “a platform to showcase exceptional achievements”, innovative ideas and outstanding contributions from top brokers and leading lenders.
“The awards inspire us and others within the industry; setting benchmarks and raising the bar for excellence,” Saoud said. “By showcasing their remarkable accomplishments, all the finalists and winners drive progress and advancement across the industry.”
Saoud said that he looked forward to seeing the industry join together and celebrate this year.
“We are thrilled to be once again supporting one of the industry’s most prestigious awards programs,” he said.
Pepper Money’s comments follow those of fellow 2022 award winners Daniel Green from Green Finance Group (Westpac Australian Broker of the Year and La Trobe Financial Broker of the Year – Commercial) and Loan Market national director Andrew Thompson (OnDeck Aggregator of the Year Over 500 Brokers), who said that the awards were a brilliant way to recognise people and companies who had delivered exceptional customer outcomes.
Organised by Key Media and supported by Mortgage Professional Australia and Australian Broker, the awards will again have the backing of event partner Westpac, along with NAB and PRPTY 360 as premium sponsors. Other sponsors include Adelaide Bank, ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Equity-One, Bankwest, FBAA, Firstmac, Gateway Bank, La Trobe Financial, Liberty, MFAA, Mortgage Choice, OnDeck, Pepper Money, PropTrack, Q2, Rate Money, Resimac and ubank.
FINSTREET is the VIP post awards event sponsor, and PRPTY 360 is the champagne sponsor. Fifo Capital is sponsoring the photo booth and Maxiron Capital is the social media sponsor.
