Just Mortgages has set up a broker hub to help estate agents and developers bring sales to completion more quickly.
A Just Mortgages broker will meet with buyers face to face. The hub also gives telephone access to 400 staff across the country, and is backed up by Just Mortgages’ administration team.
Gareth Lowndes (pictured), divisional sales director in charge of the new hub, said: “Having a broker working closely alongside developers and estate agents will enable them to move from offer to completion as quickly as possible.
“This is a valuable new offering for agents without brokerage arrangements already in place, and we are confident that the model will be scalable to other parts of the country.”
Scott Malpas, one of the four brokers involved in the project, added: “Since I started working within the hub, it has given me a great sense of achievement, by enabling me to build a business through strong relationships with various estate agents, developers and a number of other mortgage and protection introducer pathways.
“We have built the relationships based on trust, flexibility, and without any contract ties, and this has enabled me to supply a high level of service and support to these introducers, resulting in all parties being able to develop each other’s interests, be rewarded, and build something great together.”
The service is aimed primarily at estate agents and developers who do not have an established arrangement with brokers.
Initially operating on a trial basis in the South Wales area, the hub consists of four brokers in the Just Mortgages employed arm, with plans to expand to the rest of Wales and into England.
The hub is being made available on a basis that there is no contract and no obligation on estate agents to use Just Mortgages brokers.
Liability remains with Just Mortgages and they will pay an introduction fee on new business.
