.This year’s study, the third annual survey, will be based on data from M-day onwards, giving lenders the first real opportunity to assess the impact of regulation. The closing date for applications to participate is 17th June and, judging by the amount of continuing interest, Marlborough Stirling expects the final number of lenders to be over 20.
The study enables lenders to identify and analyse their competitive position within the mortgage industry, providing them with a truly independent analysis against an industry benchmark. Lenders can then identify their areas of competitive advantage, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Phil Heaton-Jones, product development director at Marlborough Stirling, comments:
“The annual benchmarking study has already established itself as an invaluable research tool for mortgage lenders. This year will be the first opportunity for lenders to assess the impact legislation has had on their business. Participants will, as usual, be able to track the findings against those recorded last year, and we expect to see some particularly interesting comparisons this year.”
