Steve will be responsible for overseeing the sales team’s delivery on major projects for the business, ensuring that Advantage’s ambitious lending targets are met.
Steve joins Advantage with 19 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, having started his career as a mortgage broker. Most recently he led a 60-strong operational team at Accord Mortgages, where he spent 18 months as operations manager for non-conforming lending. Prior to this, Steve worked for GMAC-RFC for five years in a variety of mandated operational roles, latterly as remote processing regional manager. Steve’s career in mortgage lending began at Abbey, where he undertook a range of operational roles, including sales operational manager.
