RAMP said the announcement marks its continued relationship with key lenders.
Speaking of Advantage’s appointment to the panel, RAMP managing director, John Rice, said: “Advantage, having come from a packaging background, is well-equipped to understand and respond to the issues facing RAMP members. Advantage has also brought its packaging experience to bear in the design of its products and I am sure the service will add to our members’ offering. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.”
Keith Dearling, managing director of Advantage, commented: “We are delighted to be joining RAMP’s lender panel. Further to our commitment to develop innovative products and services, we also aim to make a significant impact with RAMP members in the area of system integration. Our intention is to deliver our products and services in the most efficient manner possible by integrating their business into our online binding decision model, thereby enabling our packager partners to process more business with reduced costs and therefore improved profitability. We believe our packaging heritage will ensure RAMP members find us extremely supportive and responsive to their needs and very much look forward to working with them over the coming months and years.”
Andy Pratt, chief operations officer at Alexander Hall, said: “Advantage has just released a flexishare product/home ownership plan aimed at key workers, first-time buyers and growing families. This is a new type of mortgage combining a traditional mortgage with a shared equity loan. This is a very innovative product, and we need more innovative products for first-timers, so it’s not surprising RAMP added the lender to its panel.”
