Adapt enables brokers to write both standard and non-standard risks for all types of property such as unoccupied, holiday home, business use from home and many others all through one product.
It is an EDI (electronic data interchange) product, which allows faster and more efficient data exchange between platform and underwriting that better serves the broker.
Kris Lee, chief underwriting officer of Arkel, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with SSP who have extensive reach in the broker market.
“This forms part of our overall strategy of distribution expansion and we expect to be able to announce further partnerships in the coming weeks.”
“We understand customer needs and have designed our product to be able to ‘Adapt’ to their needs in these uncertain times.
“Introducing products that are easy to use and flexible is key for our brokers and their customers.”
Ron Atkinson, distribution director at SSP, added: “I am delighted to be working with Arkel.
“The partnership enables our users to offer cover for a range of standard and non-standard properties that mainstream insurers often lack the specialist knowledge to quote for effectively.
“This is another important step in our commitment to enable our broker users to trade efficiently and provide the best possible service to their customers.”
