Richard is expected to take up his appointment early in 2008.
Richard will join SPML from Platform where he has worked for nine years. He has been head of sales at Platform with responsibility for the company’s distribution channels, business relationships and 40 strong sales force. At the recent British Mortgage Awards 2007, Richard won the head of sales award category.
Richard held several prior sales roles at Platform including divisional sales manager (Unpackaged) and regional sales manager (South). He began his career at Scottish Life Assurance from 1995-98.
Roger Taylor will continue as acting director of sales at SPML until Richard commences his new role.
