Gen H implements new product switching feature

Fintech mortgage lender Gen H has introduced a significant update for its broker partners by launching a redesigned product switching journey.

The new feature allows for a self-service process, enabling brokers to instantly switch eligible clients to a lower rate with just a few clicks – an enhancement that integrates more control over applications and mortgage management into Gen H’s custom broker platform, Gen H Pro.

Brokers who tested the new journey have expressed positive feedback. The updated system is now available to all brokers.

The development follows a series of launches aimed at supporting the intermediary sector. Earlier in the year, Gen H unveiled a dedicated website for intermediaries and introduced an innovative AI-packaging tool developed in partnership with Google Cloud.

Since its launch to the intermediary market in the summer of 2021, Gen H has collaborated with over 16,000 brokers. The lender’s partnerships include notable industry networks and clubs such as Legal & General Club, Openwork, Paradigm, TMA, PMS, Brilliant Solutions, and PRIMIS.

Product switching can take up a big part of a broker’s day,” said Pete Dockar (pictured), chief commercial officer at Gen H. “It may seem like a simple task, but still requires a lot of time to provide quality whole of market advice.

“Now, if a Gen H rate is right for a broker’s client, they’ll be able to complete their switch in just a few minutes. Clients work with their brokers because they trust their advice; we want to make the process of managing those carefully chosen mortgage product choices as simple and effortless as it can be.”
