Based in their Haywards Heath office, Atkins will be responsible for Preferred’s Glasgow office, their C&G Mortgage Services team, and the Service Line department. He will report to George Patellis, Managing Director. Atkins has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years, starting his career with Lloyds TSB. Most recently, he was Head of Mortgage Processing at TML (part of the Kensington Group), responsible for processing both the core and broker mortgage business. Prior to that he was instrumental in the launch of TML’s secured loan business and - following its amalgamation with Your Personal Finance - was responsible for the management of all broker activity. Atkins has experience in both sales and operations and an 'abundance of tools that have proved successful within the non-conforming market'.
