SPF’s deal offers people wanting to self-certify a 1.2% discount for three years. There are no extended penalties and the arrangement fee is £395. There is also a paydown facility of up to 10% per year.

Climate Care aims to offset the average home's carbon dioxide emissions arising from electricity and gas use through reforestation.
The self-certification mortgage product incorporates a free Home Energy Rating (in conjunction with valuation), which details how energy efficient a house is, and how money can be saved via various energy saving measures.
