Advisory firm rejoins network which shares its strategic vision
Mortgage and insurance network Stonebridge has announced the return of advisory firm Windsor Hill Mortgages to its network as one of its latest appointed representative (AR) firms.
Windsor Hill Mortgages, previously authorised by another mortgage network, specialises in various mortgage and property finance solutions, along with protection and general insurance. It cited alignment with strategic vision, goal congruence, and a commitment to active collaboration as the primary reasons for returning to the Stonebridge network.
Winner of the Source Insurance UK Award for Mortgage Network of the Year at the 2023 Mortgage Introducer Awards, Stonebridge displayed strong growth in 2023, highlighted by a 4.5% increase in the number of advisers during the year’s third quarter.
“We are very pleased to be able to welcome Windsor Hill Mortgages ‘back home’ to Stonebridge, having recognised the significant support we provide, our commitment to supporting broker firms’ goals and ambitions, and the opportunities available to Windsor Hill within the network,” Rob Clifford (pictured), chief executive at Stonebridge, commented.
“Having worked with Oliver, Elliot, and the team at Windsor Hill before, we have a strong relationship in place, and we’ve already begun working closely together in order to provide them with everything they require in order to further develop and grow. It’s great to have them back within the network and to see continued examples of firms understanding how Stonebridge is best placed to meet their business needs.”
Oliver Cotterell, co-founding director at Windsor Hill Mortgages, added that they were looking forward to continuing their journey together with Stonebridge.
“When we began exploring the option to rejoin Stonebridge, we received a genuine welcome from the team there, and it was made clear to us they wanted to build a long-lasting relationship to assist and guide us towards our goals,” Cotterell said. “We were looking for a network who shared our vision, who wanted to collaborate together, and who importantly had a technological infrastructure which offered a top-tier solution to deliver success for our team.
“Since we returned, that has been demonstrated already, and it has only reinforced our belief we have made the right decision in rejoining Stonebridge. There is a culture of inclusivity here, genuine care for what we are doing and what we want to achieve, and unwavering support to reach those ends.”
