An exciting new joint marketing arrangement will provide the Thinc Destini sales force with unparalleled opportunities to develop relationships with estate agents – as well as help their estate agent contacts survive the impact of the new Home Information Pack (HIP) legislation.
From January 2007, home owners wanting to sell will be legally required to compile a HIP, which will bring together key information about a property’s condition and ownership and transfer responsibility for producing this type of data from buyer to seller.
When this happens, sellers will turn to estate agents for help to put the packs together. By teaming up with new company mysalepack.com, Thinc Destini will be capitalising on these changes that are due to revolutionise the housing market.
mysalepack.com, which achieves an additional distribution arm from this win-win partnership, has developed a simple, web based system that allows sellers to complete a HIP online – and it offers a unique interest free “Buy Now, Pay Later” option.
Even though the new requirement will not become compulsory for sellers until 2007, the Government plans to have a six month national voluntary ‘dry-run’ of the HIP starting next July. Some estate agents are already offering HIPs on a voluntary basis.
David Collett, Thinc Destini’s executive deputy chairman, said: “Introducing smaller estate agents to mysalepack.com could increase their profitability – many of them need additional income after ceasing to sell mortgage business since it became regulated by the Financial Services Authority last October. And HIPs will allow Thinc Destini to agree more strategic alliances with estate agencies – which in turn should lead to more clients doing business with us. We are very excited by the opportunities that this deal provides.”
