Donna Corley, one of the most influential women within the housing and mortgage industry, has been appointed executive vice president and head of Freddie Mac’s single-family business in February this year. She oversees all business relationships with its seller/servicers, the performance of its guarantee book, and all sourcing, servicing, and business operations. She is also a member of Freddie Mac’s senior operating committee. Prior to the appointment, she was interim head of the single-family division since October 2019. For the past five years before that, she was the single-family chief risk officer, focused on bringing a fresh perspective to managing risk while leading a team of some 500 employees responsible for analysing and managing the risks that impact Freddie Mac's single-family business. A 25-year Freddie Mac veteran, Corley began her Freddie Mac career as a research analyst and, subsequently, held various portfolio manager positions within the investment and capital markets division as well as led Freddie Mac’s credit pricing, risk transfer, and securitisation teams.
