executive vice president, head of single-family business
Donna Corley, one of the most influential women within the housing and mortgage industry, has been appointed executive vice president and head of Freddie Mac’s single-family business in February this year. She oversees all business relationships with its seller/servicers, the performance of its guarantee book, and all sourcing, servicing, and business operations. She is also a member of Freddie Mac’s senior operating committee. Prior to the appointment, she was interim head of the single-family division since October 2019. For the past five years before that, she was the single-family chief risk officer, focused on bringing a fresh perspective to managing risk while leading a team of some 500 employees responsible for analysing and managing the risks that impact Freddie Mac's single-family business. A 25-year Freddie Mac veteran, Corley began her Freddie Mac career as a research analyst and, subsequently, held various portfolio manager positions within the investment and capital markets division as well as led Freddie Mac’s credit pricing, risk transfer, and securitisation teams. Her recent awards include HousingWire’s Women of Influence 2017 and 2019, Euromoney's Global Structured Deal of the Year award, The Banker's Deal of the Year for the Americas in 2014, and the 2019 Mortgage Global 100.A
