John Mohnacheff, Liberty’s ebullient and charismatic group sales manager, has more than 30 years of insurance, banking, and finance experience. In his current role, he is responsible for increasing productivity and growth through his management of Liberty’s business development and state sales managers. With more than 20 years of service at Liberty, Mohnacheff said he is “immensely proud of the relationships and reputation that Liberty has forged” as the company evolves and becomes “a champion of diversification and a true leader in non-bank lending.” Liberty topped the 2020 Brokers on Non-Banks survey by MPA and received an Excellence Award for Non-Bank of the Year at the 2020 Australian Mortgage Awards. Prior to joining Liberty, Mohnacheff held executive roles at Westpac and Bank of Melbourne. He holds a Bachelor of Business, and a Marketing Masters through the University of New England and a Post Graduate Diploma in Organisational Behaviour from the University of NSW.
