As president of Black Knight’s origination technologies division, Richard Gagliano is primarily responsible for the direction of the organisation’s loan origination system for retail, wholesale, and consumer-direct channels. He has a wealth of lending-product knowledge and insight gained from his more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, nine of which has been spent at Black Knight. Prior to joining Black Knight, he was most recently senior vice president of direct lending and chief administrative officer at Aurora Bank, responsible for management of the direct-to-consumer lending platform and established the bank’s internet lending channel. Other companies he has worked at include the Bank of America, Nexstar Financial Corporation, Citi, and Mercantile Bank. Gagliano holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University, and an MBA degree in finance from Saint Louis University.
