She brings extensive USDA program expertise to the role
X-Caliber Rural Capital, a USDA mortgage lender, has promoted industry leader Anna West (pictured) as president.
In her new capacity, West will manage the operations of the company’s USDA OneRD lending platform. With a career spanning over 15 years, West has built a strong reputation in the industry, especially in managing USDA’s diverse rural development programs. Her expertise covers a wide spectrum of the USDA loan process, including origination, underwriting, construction monitoring, closing, and servicing.
Before her promotion, West served as executive managing director of general USDA lending at X-Caliber for over two years. Prior to that, she spent more than five years at Live Oak Bank, previously as vice president of USDA lending. In that role, she utilized the USDA’s unique loan programs to secure competitive financing solutions for rural businesses across the United States.
Her experience also includes a seven-year tenure directly with the Department of Agriculture, where she served as a USDA loan specialist.
“Anna has been instrumental in helping develop and strategically grow our platform,” X-Caliber co-founder Jordan Blanchard said in a press release. “She has an unprecedented level of industry expertise, and we look forward to expanding our business under her leadership as we build on our foundation of success.”
